Mary Kovaleski Byrnes’ poems have appeared in numerous literary journals, including  the Minnetonka Review, Interrupture, the Squaw Valley Review, and Bosporus Art Project Quarterly, and her travel writing is frequently featured in the Boston Globe. Originally from Lancaster County, PA, she recently received her MFA from Emerson College in Boston. She is currently living in Sevilla, Spain, where she is working on a poetry translation project and writing the poetry/travel blog Evoking Duende.
