Currently we are seeking submissions for our themed issue listed below.
Artists on Artists: Mano a mano
Deadline: September 15, 2012
The call is to have a portrait done of a living artist/s by another artist. Artists may work together and render an artwork of each other or may work solo and render an artwork of another visual artist or poet. Poets may submit up to four poems. Visual artists may submit up to four portraits. Stipulation is to acquire the approval of the artists whose portrait you are rendering before the publication takes place.
Please email Didi Menendez at didimenendez@hotmail.com information on whose portrait you will be working on for the call, the permission from your subject, and a short intro if you have not been previously published in PoetsArtists. Place on subject line ARTIST ON ARTIST.
We will require additional materials to set-up your pages. This may include studio shots and/or interview questions, and or artists statement and bio. This information will be emailed once your submission is received and accepted for publication. Please do not start submitting your entries earlier than August 15, 2012.
Please remember that you must email Didi Menendez as soon as you have decided to participate with the information requested above.
When we have received enough participants, this call will be taken down.
Print copies:
We are unable to offer complimentary contributor copies because our publications have no advertising and the issues are free for viewing online.
