Sophia Hewson completed a first class Honours Degree at The Victorian College of the Arts. Since then she has had several solo exhibitions including Solstice – City of the Godless, and Dy Dykrenore (which featured a large scale ice sculpture with an imbedded lamb spine.) She was recently featured on the cover Art Collector Magazine, and this year was selected by Art Collector as one of Australia’s 50 most collectable artists. Currently at the age of 26 she is working full time in her Richmond studio towards her next solo exhibition, which will be held in Sydney at Chalk Horse Gallery this November.
